Produced in partnership with The Workers Arts and Heritage Centre and the Ontario Nurses’ Association, Stitch Media created an touring interactive display and accompanying website to commemorate the 40th anniversary of ONA. We consulted with nurses, patients and doctors across the province of Ontario asking the questions How has a nurse changed your life?” and “What does being a nurse mean to you?”, conducting interviews and collecting statistics along the way. The result is a multi-faceted project that exists as a website, a travelling interactive trade show display, and an Android tablet application. Each of the 3 components individually tells the story of 40 years of ONA, but they also complement one another when presented side-by-side.
