Book Hungry Bears: Share a Story is a digital storybook for young readers, highlighting the adventures of Crystal, Melody, Scout and Boomer as they experience storytime together. Using the characters from the popular animated TV series, Book Hungry Bears, this app encourages a love of reading through exploration and interaction.
This e-reading experience contains four custom stories that each focus on building a different area of cognitive development in preschool aged children. In addition to the audio narration, each book contains a variety of interactive elements that are designed to engage the child through narrative comprehension, response and identification and audio playback. The interactions triggered by these elements include animations, sound effects or both - meant to deepen the child’s curiosity and focus on the pleasure of anticipation in storytelling.
