In collaboration with White Pine Pictures, this project celebrates the vitally important world of independent, investigative journalism and the history of “muckraking” – a term President Theodore Roosevelt first coined to describe the independent journalists of the early 1900s who were exposing corporate greed, social injustice, and dangerous workplaces. They established a proud tradition carried on by I. F. Stone, Seymour Hersh, Glenn Greenwald and Jeremy Scahill, among others.
