Stitch Media is an interactive production company telling stories with technology. Creating thoughtful immersive experiences for clients through web, mobile, AR/VR, and games. Our studio works remotely with monthly in-person events in Toronto.
Over the past fifteen years, Stitch Media has worked on dozens of projects and many of these live on today. Our challenge is that they were set up across many different server configurations without a centralized strategy. We have adopted nearly every web platform at some stage in our history (AWS EC2, Digital Ocean Droplets, etc) and now we’re seeking someone with a solid understanding of modern and legacy server technologies to help us manage/consolidate our library of past web projects.
Your project will first be researching projects and corresponding services they use so that you can make a recommendation on long-term strategy and implement it with robust documentation that allows future administrators to find credentials and instructions easily.
Estimated size of contract
We anticipate this process will take at least 120 hours to complete. The key phases will be analyzing online projects with limited documentation, proposing a migration plan and testing projects once migrated to ensure functionality.
Please send your resume but most importantly a cover letter explaining your approach to this challenge to apply for this position.
